APOS Screening for Distress Program

This two-year educational program will prepare cancer care clinicians to develop and implement a comprehensive distress screening program in their practice environments.

The first year of the program begins with a one-day workshop held at the APOS Annual Conference and continues with videoconferences with experts every 3 months.

The second year includes an advanced one-day workshop at the APOS Annual Conference with 2 videoconferences throughout the second year.

The first workshop will be held 29 July 2015 as part of this year's 2015 World Congress of Psycho-Oncology!

Funded by an NCI grant, this cancer education program is a joint project between the Yale School of Nursing and APOS. Read more about the program and its principal investigators here.
